My decision to join the United States Air Force...

I know that alot of people did not want me to join the USAF. But there were those that believed and knew that I could do it. I have always wanted to do several things in life...become a Police Officer, Fire Fighter, Computer Technician.....and last but not least an Airman in the Air Force.

I tried to become a Police Officer by joining in Stockton ,Ca. They claimed that I passed all the test's that applied to becoming a Police Officer and then still denied me entrance into the field. They claimed I did not pass my background check. That my psychological, physical, and mental smarts were all fine...I just didn't pass the Background Check. When later on I figured out that they gave too many applicants a hiring offer and that they just chose the ones that were Ex-Military.

When I was forced to leave Round Table Pizza the only option left that I had was the Air Force. I know that this will be a great blessing in restarting my career. I will be able to have school paid for and receive the training required to attain my goals.

I will leave for BMT anytime from today to September 19th. And I cant wait to go. Even though I will miss my Wife and little Ava. Right now I'm in the Inactive Reserves in a program called DEP (Delayed Enlistment Program). Back in the days you could just get send to boot camp but now they have a quota on how many men and women can join the Air Force per year.

So now it is my job to get back to a 6pack abs and fit so that I can pass with alot less pain. To pass boot camp you have to run a minimum of 1.5 miles in 11:57 and 45 pushups in a minute and 50 situps in one minute. I can do those now but it hurts like crazy to run that. So im going to continue to practice.

Well this is getting long so I will just end it now and Ill keep everyone updated later.
